The Washburn Rural High School girls wrestling team will celebrate the end of a successful season with an awards night on Wednesday, March 11, from 6–8 p.m. The event will take place at the school and will recognize the hard work and achievements of the team’s athletes throughout the season.

Coaches, athletes, families, and supporters are invited to attend the evening celebration. During the event, several awards will be presented to wrestlers who showed outstanding performance, dedication, and leadership both on and off the mat. Team members will also be recognized for their contributions to the program and their commitment to representing Washburn Rural with pride.

The awards night will also give the team an opportunity to reflect on the growth of the girls wrestling program and the progress made during the season. Coaches will share highlights from competitions and speak about the team’s development and goals for the future.

For many athletes, the evening will be a chance to celebrate friendships, teamwork, and the effort that went into every practice and match. The Washburn Rural community is encouraged to attend and support the team.
