For this week’s Student Spotlight we have decided to focus on our volleyball team . We have chosen to interview player Destiny Ochs.

• What has been your favorite part about being on the Washburn Rural volleyball team?
  • “ The environment and support from the fellow teammates.”
• What do you think will be your team’s biggest obstacle this year?
  • “Connecting as a team after losing seniors from last year.”
• How would you describe your motivation for 2022’s season?
  • “To not get fourth in state this time if we make it.”
• Looking back on your past volleyball seasons, what has been one of your favorite memories from school volleyball?
  • “Getting things done in practice but having fun at the same time.”
• Do you have any further plans for your career in volleyball?
  • “Hopefully to play college volleyball.”
