For this week’s Student Spotlight we have decided to focus on our volleyball team . We have chosen to interview player Destiny Ochs.
What has been your favorite part about being on the Washburn Rural volleyball team?
“ The environment and support from the fellow teammates.”
What do you think will be your team’s biggest obstacle this year?
“Connecting as a team after losing seniors from last year.”
How would you describe your motivation for 2022’s season?
“To not get fourth in state this time if we make it.”
Looking back on your past volleyball seasons, what has been one of your favorite memories from school volleyball?
“Getting things done in practice but having fun at the same time.”
Do you have any further plans for your career in volleyball?
“Hopefully to play college volleyball.”
