WRHS Cheer State Sendoff

On Wednesday, November 15, 2023, the Washburn Rural Cheer Squad had a state sendoff. This is an event where parents, friends, other family members, and students can see the cheer squads routines for state. This event was held at 6:00 PM and ended at 8:00 PM. This event was a great way to support the cheer team.

The cheer team’s state competition is Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the Stormont Vail Event Center. Everyone is allowed to go support the team and cheer as loudly as possible for them. Last school year, the cheer squad placed 2nd in state. The last time they won first place was in 2021. Go support the cheer team at their state competition this weekend!

Not only is cheer having state, but also the Dancin Blues, the dance team at WRHS. Their state is on Friday, November 17, 2023, also at Stormont Vail Event Center. Go and support the dance and cheer teams at state this weekend!
