On June 12, 19, 26 and July 10, 18 and 24 Washburn Rural High School will be hosting Summer Walk & Talks for the incoming class of 2028, as well as any new students.
The tours are hosted by WRHS Student Ambassadors, who are students recommended to assist with these tours by several teachers in different organizations around the school. These tours have been held the last five years, with each year being very popular and informative for many.
The tours are free to attend, and allows freshmen and new students to get acclimated with the school and its layout before the school year begins. At the conclusion of each tour, refreshments will be provided, which are also served by current WRHS students. Parents are also welcome to join and ask any questions that they may have. These tours have been a great success past years, helping new students feel comfortable on their first day of high school.
