For this week’s student spotlight I have decided to focus on our 2023 King of courts candidates. I have talked to Senior Aiden Rae about his nomination and his further academic career. 

• Who were you nominated by? 
  • “Journalism Department (yearbook).”
• What piece of advice do you have for younger high school students?
  • “Try as many new things as possible and don’t limit yourself.”
• What club are you in?
  • “Nutrition Club, NHS.”
• What college are you planning on going to? What for? What major?
  • “Undecided for college, playing baseball, sports management.”
• What classes would you suggest to underclassmen?
  • “I would suggest Honors Humanities with Burgett and APUSH with Eliason, photo imaging.”
• If you weren’t nominated, who would you vote for? Why?
  • “I would vote for either Ty or Jack because I have been friends with them my entire life and they are some really great guys, for the girls I would vote for Mackinly Rohn because I have been friends with her for a long time.”
