Dance Team Wins State Championship

On November 19 the WRHS Dance team competed at the Kansas High School Activities Association Game Day Dance Showcase held at the Stormont Vail Event Center in Topeka, KS.

The Dancin’ Blues competed against other 6A schools from around the state and walked away with their first State championship with a score of 96.5, defeating such teams as Olathe East (93.37), Blue Valley North (92.0), Olathe Northwest (91.9), Shawnee Mission East (90.73) and Blue Valley (90.47).
