Trump will make a great president
Senior writer Nathan Selvidge explains why he thinks Donald Trump will be great for America these next four years.
Donald Trump is going to be a good president because he made it to where he is today by working hard. He was not born into an incredibly rich family with everything handed to him from day one. He started working with his dad behind a desk in New York. He has worked almost his entire life to get to where he is today. Trump made most of his money in New York as a real estate agent.
Today, Trump holds some of the most prestigious addresses in the world. Previous owner of the Empire State Building, and current owner of 28 luxurious buildings, both domestic and commercial, Trump could be described as the “perfect American success story.” But what does all of this have to do with his presidential campaign?
Trump’s experience as a businessman is going to perfectly fit the role of president. Trump knows that sometimes in order to succeed you do not make decisions that you want to make, instead you make the decisions that you have to make. That differs from past presidents with tunnel vision pointing only towards the success of the American people at all costs.
People only see the parts of Trump on the news about how some say he’s racist and he wants all illegal immigrants deported. People do not understand how big of a situation illegal immigration really is. America has always been the land of opportunity, when in reality, the opportunity is just a welfare check and food stamps.
Trump’s ideas to actually act upon illegal immigration are seen as a big deal because nobody has actually done something to fix the problem. The foreign idea seems bad because he is one of the very few who have addressed this problem directly.
If we were to remove only the immigrants in California, I think that America would see drastic improvement. The economy would be in better shape due to the number of Americans being employed instead, unemployment rate would decline and the overall appearance of America would drastically change for the better. After the improvements Trump promises to make, people would begin to think that maybe his ideas are not that bad after all.
