The Washburn Rural High School freshman volleyball team played their first volleyball quad-match of the season on Sept. 5, 2024.
They played against three other teams, Seaman High School, Emporia High School, and Manhattan High School. They traveled to Emporia High School.
As their first quad together as a team, they won one out of three games . They will be traveling with the Junior Varsity volleyball team to their next event, which will be a triangular on Sept. 10 at Manhattan High School from 3:00-8:00 p.m.
Then, the team will leave at 9 am on Sept. 14 for a tournament in Ottawa. The first home event they have will be on Sept. 17 from 5:00-8:00 pm.
