This week’s Spirit Week was very memorable, and as we get through these fun and exciting days where we dress up in all sorts of colors and designs, let’s run through the days of the week for “Dancing Through the Decades”; Homecoming edition.
Spirit Week was broken up into different years throughout the week. Monday, the theme was Y2K, meaning you dressed up in your best 90’s and 2000’s-inspired outfits.
For Tuesday the theme was Big Hair Don’t Care. Students and staff would wear their hair crazy like in the 80’s. Some of the students instead dressed up like the 80’s instead of wearing their hair crazy.
Wednesday was Disco vs Hippies. Students and staff dressed in their grooviest outfit, inspired by the 60’s.
For Thursday the theme was T-Birds vs Pink Ladies, where you get to dress like the 50’s. Last but not least, for Friday, the theme is Blue Out! We wore blue to represent the homecoming football game tonight, also inspired by the 40’s.
Hannah Thompson said, “I would say the 80’s because I really like the fun different patterns I got to wear with the colors!”
