Recently, numerous WRHS art students competed against 35 other schools in the Highland Art Day event. There were over 900 pieces of art that were entered into the event.

Tyler Lemke, Meredith Kucera, Savanna Schmidt, Ashton Dawley, Sienna Hamilton (2), Taylor Bayless, Andrea Saucedo and Yecinta Ngure received Artistic Excellence Medals in Juried Art Show while Maddie O’Brien, Elijah Knoles, Savanna Schmidt, Kyleigh Chrisman, Syd Laster, and Lee Wolgast (2) received Honorable Mention in Juried Art Show.

Lee Wolgast, Arianna Smith, Syd Laster and Elli Brandt received second place in Team Art History competition and Tyler Lemke received first place in the Self Portrait competition.
