For this week’s student spotlight we interviewed sophomore Tenly Bunck on the girls basketball team going to state this season.

  • What does high school basketball teach you?
    • “High school basketball has taught me to be confident in my abilities.”
  • How do you prepare for your games?
    • I prepared for games by listening to music and getting in a good mindset for the game.”
  • What do you believe was one of your team’s weaknesses at state?
    • One of our weaknesses at state was the amount of dumb turnovers we made. We also needed to move the ball more.”
  • What advice would you give younger girls wanting to play in high school?
    • I say go for it. So many memories come from sports in high school. You also can make some of your best friends when doing sports in high school. So, if you are debating on whether to do a high school sport, I would do it.”
  • What’s your best memory from this past season?
    • One of my favorite memories from this past season would probably be going to state and making such good friends along the way.”
