Boys Swim/Dive win Centennial League Title!

WRHS Boys Swim Team won the Centennial League Title!  Please join me in recognizing this achievement!

 Leading their third straight Centennial League win, senior Nathen Trachta earned four gold medals at their swim and dive meet last Thursday. Trachta won the 100-yard butterfly in 54.19 seconds and the 100 backstroke in 57.18. Along with that, Trachta also swam the 200 and 400 free relays. The 200 relay time was 1:33.25 and the 400 relay finished with a 3:23.92. 

Washburn Rural won 413-496 with Seaman finishing second. WRHS entered their last event of the day only nine points ahead of Seaman. Soon Jack Miranda, Will Powell, Brogan Meir, and Nathen Trachta will gain a win against Manhattan with an eight second difference, it solidified their finish.

Not only did Trachta win gold medals, but Jack Miranda earned four as well. Miranda won his medals by finishing the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:49.41 and the 500 freestyle in 4:54.93. Jalen Eliert and Luke Lemke had joined Trachta and Miranda in the 200 free relay, taking another win, with the time of 1:33.25.
