What is one thing you would change about yourself if you could?

  • “I would probably change my eye color. Sometimes it blends into my pupil when I smile and it just looks strange in pictures.”

What is one thing that makes you really angry?

  • “It makes me really angry when I sleep in and am craving a bowl of cereal but my brothers have already used all of the milk, so I have the cereal but can’t eat breakfast because we are out of milk.”

What college do you hope to attend and what do you want to major in?

  • “I hope to attend University of Texas at Dallas to study neurology as a major and go on to study neuropsychology for a PhD.”

What is one thing soccer has exposed you to that you would not have realized otherwise?

  • “I recognize there are a lot of different ways people can react to a certain situation. For example, if a referee is calling a lot of fouls in our direction, then some people on the opposing team start yelling at him. Contrastly, some people (from the yelling people’s team) will play even calmer and focus less on “getting even” and playing more physical. Just everyone will react differently even if they are in the exact same situation.”

Who inspires you most?

  • “My mom is easily who inspires me the most. She has been resilient through everything she has faced and still supports all of my siblings in everything we do. She shows up to all of my soccer games even when I don’t believe I am going to get a good amount of playing time. She is just an all around cool lady and I hope to be like her when I grow up.”
