• “If I could go anywhere in the world it would be Scotland. I would like to go there because of the cool weather and the older architectural style of the buildings.”

• “In school my favorite subject is band (and if that doesn’t work, it’s math).”

Why did you decide to join the chess club?

• “I joined the chess club because I learned chess at the young age of 4 and wanted people my skill level to practice against.”

Why would you encourage others to join the chess club? What do you like about it?

• “I would encourage others to join the club because it has a fun and friendly atmosphere and you could vastly improve your chess abilities. I enjoy the friendly competition that comes with playing people and trying to get better than them.”
