• “I’m pretty good at Tetris. I recognize that Tetris isn’t exactly crazy, but that’s about as exciting as my life gets.”

How did you find out about Topeka Youth Symphony?

• “My mom looked into local music opportunities when my family first moved to Topeka.”

Why do you enjoy participating and how would you persuade others to join?

• “I enjoy it because it’s different from the other ensembles I participate in. It’s an interesting experience, whether you are traditionally an orchestra or a band student, to play with the instruments you usually don’t play with. I would encourage anyone looking for additional music experience to participate.”
