What made you want to play the cello and how long have you been playing?

• “I play the cello because my sister played violin and I wanted to be like her but I didn’t want to play the same instrument. I’ve been playing the cello for 8 years.”

Why would you encourage other students to join orchestra?

• “String instruments are easy to manipulate so I think others would benefit from learning one. Playing with others is one of the most fulfilling things to do as a musician.”
