On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, WRHS will host a Veterans Day Assembly at 2:10 p.m. in the Activity Center. We celebrate Veterans Day to show our appreciation for their sacrifices and what they decided to do with their lives.

It is great because then we get to talk about their experiences and what led them to the decisions they make, and we can reflect on that and apply that to our lives. It is very important to celebrate Veterans Day and to get out there and talk to Veterans. They want to tell their stories and have people listen because it is very important for them.

This is some proper student etiquette for the assembly: silence all cell phones and electronics upon entering the activity center, remove all hats, and stand quietly for the posting of colors and the national anthem; be courteous to all speakers; refrain from talking; stand for the playing of  Taps; and for the retirement of the colors. Each class will sit in the stands with your class by department. On the west side will be the English, Math, Tech, Art, and Business classes. On the east side will be the Social studies, science, music, PE, and world language.
