The WRHS boys soccer team wrapped up their season with an impressive record, showcasing determination, teamwork, and steady improvement from start to finish. They ended their season with a record of 14-1-1 and had a total of 74 goals and only allowed 11. The WRHS boys soccer team has also consistently scored at least two goals in every game throughout the season helping them secure their 31st consecutive Centennial League win. The boys soccer team is now preparing for their post season games and the team, along with Coach Hensyel, have high hopes this year: “I’m excited about regionals and state because we have home field advantage and should get to play most of our games at home where we are tough to beat. We have a very experienced team with 12 seniors that have come really close the last couple of years. The team is very motivated to get even further this year.” Their first regional game is next week on October 30th and McElory Field.
