The Student Council has some exciting events coming up this holiday season. Two of those include the halloween trunk or treat and adopt a family.
First up this season is the trunk or treat. The student council plans on making two trunks that will hand out candy to kids who come. They will be alongside other clubs and activities who also decide to make a trunk. The themes are not yet decided but they have some creative ideas! The trunk or treat will occur on Thursday October 30 from 4:30 to 6:30. The trucks will be located in the small parking lot by the innovation center, and guests can park in the staff parking lot by the library.
Next up Student Council plans on helping with Adopt a Family. This year, they have adopted seven families to donate gifts and essentials to. They will specifically help find and order the gifts and wrap them for the families when they arrive. This event will occur throughout the end of November and beginning of December. It is a good way to give back to the community by helping families experience the Christmas festivities.
