On Monday night, WRHS orchestras had their annual fall concert in the Auditorium to show what they had learned so far this school year.
The orchestra department consists of three groups: Concert, Symphony, and Chamber. All three groups performed a selection of songs. Concert orchestra was first to play, and the group mostly consists of freshmen. They played songs like Can-Can arranged by Richard Meyer and Beyond the Thunder, arranged by Deborah Baker Monday, for example. Next was the Symphony orchestra, which is the middle group, and they played Ghostbusters, Rosin Eating Zombies from Outer Space, and a couple more. Finally, the Chamber orchestra ended the concert with their performance, which was done without a conductor. They played Drifen, Swamp Thang, and more. Now, orchestra students will start learning new music and preparing for their next concert, which will take place in December.
