On Friday, Sept. 12, our varsity football team won against Blue Valley High School for the first home game of the 2025 season.
This game was Washburn’s comeback after we lost to them in 2024, with the score being 7-34. Last week, the final score was 31-30, making it our second win of the season after beating Shawnee Heights on Sept. 5. Kickoff took place at 7 pm, and the student section was packed with people. The theme was country club vs country.
The next home game will take place this Friday, Sept. 19, at 7 p.m. against Platte County High School, which is a school located in Missouri. The theme for the student section will be neon/wigs. Show up to the game tonight to support your Junior Blues!
