Last week, students voted on their class presidents and officers. On Monday September 15, the 2025-26 class representatives results were released.
For the freshman class, the elected officers are La’Myiah Dennis-Riley, Lilian Sherwood, and Claire Bacon. The freshman class voted Charlie Billings for their president. The sophomore class officers are Savannah Manrose and Ivan Beach. Their class president is Braiden Joost. The Junior representatives are officers Shri Chidambaranathan, Cedric Geotz, and Jaidan Loreman, and president Kaci Hodgson. The senior officers are Weston Widman, Kenzie Maddox, and Ashlynn VanDonge and their president is Giselle Foster.
Running for a class position is not something everyone wants to do, but it is a big deal for people who choose to take on the role. Senior class president Giselle Foster said, “I was inspired to run for class president because I wanted to be involved and be part of something bigger than myself. I moved to Kansas my freshman year, so I wanted to feel a part of the community and be in the room where it happens and actually have a seat at the table.”
Foster is especially excited to be president her senior year. “I am looking forward to planning fun senior events and my speech at graduation. There are so many ideas I have, and I can’t wait to execute them this year!” she said.
