Since school started up, so did clubs, over the next couple of weeks there will be club days every Thursday to allow students to explore the many clubs that Washburn Rural offers.
Washburn Rural has over 30 clubs that are sponsored by different teachers at the school, not only are there countless clubs to choose from but each club is also very diverse. Some of the most popular clubs are Letters of Love,Kay Club and FCA.
Letters of Love is a non profit club that creates, decorates and distributes uplifting cards for kids in children’s hospitals!
FCA stands for Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a club in which students get to hear from guest speakers to strengthen their relationship and understanding of the lord. It also allows the chance to connect with fellow athletes.
Kay Club stands for Kansas Association of Youth and their goal is to make an effort to create an impact on WRHS and on our community.
Each club offers unique benefits that can allow students the chance to create relationships and grow in different ways!
