Washburn Rural High School has announced that its freshman and JV football teams will compete against the Shawnee Heights High School JV and Freshman team on September 9th. The game is scheduled to be played from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the football field of Washburn Rural.
Washburn Rural’s upcoming freshman team has been engaged in focused training sessions, targeting both skill development and strategic play, along with the JV team. Next Tuesday’s home field game is a chance for fans to come out and witness first hand some of Washburn’s next upcoming talent that will be presented on the field.
So students, parents, and community members who wish to support the Washburn Rural football program, come on out to the field to support our 9th and JV team as they take the field for their first game of the season!
