On August 19th, our first annual pep assembly was held in the activity center in order to raise school spirits by playing competitive games and much more.
The assembly was led by band director Mr. Chaffee and numerous events took place at the assembly. One of these things was the annual volleyball game, in which the girls volleyball team competed against some of the staff members. There was also a tug of war game that took place, where the football seniors and the dance and cheer team competed against each other. Later on, they had the band play the fight song, and they had STUCO members hold up signs with the lyrics on them to help everyone learn what the lyrics are and sing along. To conclude the assembly, they had each class yell their class chant.
