The construction of a new building by the WRHS soccer field is progressing quickly in hopes of it being able to be used by students and staff soon.

This new building being added just outside of the soccer field will be used by the athletic teams, as well as the physical education classes. There will be a locker room for the soccer team, and includes two levels to provide an area for girls wrestling, baseball, and softball practices if needed. 

The construction started at the beginning of the summer and has made great progress since. They continued working during summer kick-arounds despite many balls being kicked over the net and into the construction area. Since the new addition would have blocked the view of the old score board, a new one will be built facing diagonal across the field. This will provide an easier view for the players, coaches, referees, and the fans who come to watch. 

Although this exciting addition will most likely not be ready during the upcoming boys soccer season, the school community is looking forward to having a new space for future athletic teams to use.
