With every new year comes the arrival of new teachers to the Washburn Rural High School staff, but this year there is an increase in new staff members.
There are 24 new teachers this year. There are seven new student services teachers, four new social studies teachers, three new english language arts teachers, two science teachers, two administration staff members, one world language, FACS, art, math, counseling, and communications teachers.
The new student services teachers are Jacent Braza, ArJay Esguerra, Caroline Green, Kristopher Murphy, David Pomery, Bryan Sage, and William Wolff.
The four social studies teachers are Hannah AuYeoung, Ryan Bach, Hayden Beck, and Richard Eckert.
The new English teachers are Zachary Day, Julia Filoso, and Allyson Meir.
The two science teachers are Brittney Oleniacz and Angie Wolferts.
The two administration staff members are Clayton Schrader and Chris Reffett.
The next six new teachers are in order as placed above; Kristine Gevock, Lindy Fike, Laurel Haley, Ray Nobleza, EmmaRae Hubener, and Bryan Lucchesi.
We have such a talented and diverse group of people joing the Washburn Rural High School staff. This year we’re in for an exciting year of fresh learning, creativity, and ideas. If you see these teachers, make them feel welcomed and respected.
