Students of Washburn Rural High School gathered at Western Hills Baptist Church this last Friday night at 7:00pm, to enjoy this year’s Color Chaos to start off the school year!
This year, Color Chaos was accompanied by Poppin Squeeze Lemonade where students were able to get a drink of their choice, free of charge, before and after the event. This event is organized through Topeka Young Life club, which is a nonprofit organization that introduces adolescents to Jesus and helps them grow in their faith. Students, dressed in white, were showered with bright colored powders, and drenched with colorful waters towards the end of the event.
Early on, different grade levels played a handful of games against one another to determine which grade could claim the most wins. Color Chaos was a huge blast and success this year, as it consisted of much laughter and cheer from many students all around Washburn Rural High School.
