Our Marching Junior Blues brought their skills to the football field and showed off what they learned over the summer at their exhibition show on August 14th, where they had multiple food trucks for the students and the people that attended the event.
This year’s show is called “The Show Must Go On” and includes well known songs from the band Queen, including, “Somebody to Love,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Are the Champions,” and many more. At the exhibition, the marching band students performed their football pregame show, which includes the national anthem and the fight song, and they ended the exhibition with a portion of their show. Also, the seniors had to teach their parents basic marching skills, such as how to walk and how to hold an instrument. They also had their annual relay race, where each section competed with each other.
These students have put in lots of effort to help the show start to emerge to life, and soon they will have to start coming to school at seven AM for rehearsal. They will continue to work their show for the upcoming competition season and the football games.
