Recently, science teacher and National Honors Society director Ryan Pfeifer was recognized as a 2025 Civic Learning All Star. A Civic Learning All Star is typically a student, school, organization, or, in this case, a teacher who displays outstanding efforts in promoting education and engagement in the community. Some specific activities that honor this title include implementing civic learning opportunities and programs in the school, demonstrating leadership in community service, and encouraging student participation in civic projects.
With the announcement of the award, InnerView CEO Kristine Sturgeon explained, “As a proud partner of Civic Learning Week, we are thrilled to be able to elevate and celebrate Ryan’s commitment to youth community service engagement. Volunteerism is a learned behavior, and you have been a fabulous role model. Students at your school have already invested 3398 impact hours of talent and time in community service this school year.”
Congratulations, Mr. Pfeifer!
