Washburn Rural High School has announce the names of WRHS students who have been selected as semi-finalists and commended students for the 2024-25 school year.
Camden Sayers, Parker Williams, Kavi Chidambaranathan and Aditi Nimishakavi were selected as Semi-Finalists, while Ananya Anaparthi and Jackson Harader were Commended Students.
According to the National Merit Scholarship Corporation website the over 16 thousand high scorers represent less than one percent of this year’s high school graduating seniors. Being named as a semi-finalist allows students to move forward in the Merit Scholarship awards, which will be announced later this year.
