WRHS Music Department Competition

On Thursday, April 17th 2024, the Washburn Rural High School Music department performed their songs at Lawrence Free State High School for a music competition. The band, orchestra, and large group choirs all participated in this mandatory event, requiring students to dedicate significant time and effort to prepare and perform well in their performances. This competition demonstrated a valuable opportunity for students to demonstrate their musical skills and perform in front of a judge who judged their performances. The events were scored on a number system, and recorded and sent back to the groups to allow them to see how they did.
