On April 11, 2024 – April 13, 2024, at 7:00 Pm, Washburn Rural Theatre presented their spring play, “The Complete Works of W. Shakespeare (Abridged).”

Tickets were available online beforehand or at the door. These tickets were six dollars for students and seven dollars for adults.

This was a fast-paced and high energy play. The cast tries to perform all of Shakespeare’s plays in less than two hours. This play is recommended for mature audiences, as there will be blood and crossdressing, which is exactly how Shakespeare himself wrote it. 

The cast list includes: Bebe Reilly, Josie Mitchell, Griffin Reiff, Weston Widman, Tillie MclIvain, Max McKibben, Cade Nelson, Noah Hart, and Cody Clingenpeel.

This is the last big play of the year and is a great opportunity for seniors. The last thing the theater department is putting out this school year is the two senior one acts, which will be performed on May 3 and 4, 2024, at 7:00 Pm. It is highly recommended to go watch, as the plays are directed and completely student led.
