On Thursday, Feb. 22, JC Heim, Jaren Heim, and Branton DeWeese signed with Washburn University to continue playing football.

Jaren Heim said, “I am looking forward to going on to the next level and playing the sport I love. It is a cool experience to step up with my brother and two best friends. The chemistry that we have already built will be even more when we start living together.”

Branton DeWeese mentioned, “I am looking forward to getting better and playing against better competition. I am 50/50 because I will miss high school football but also excited to move on to better things. I am excited to play because he was in a little league with them.”

JC Heim added,  “I am looking forward to playing with his brother again and staying close to home and also getting to play on a college football field. I am glad to be moving on to the next level and 100 percent glad to move on with his boys.”

All three will join their new teamamtes this summer when WU’s summer workouts begin.
