For this week at Washburn Rural, this Thursday there were clubs this week and that means Letters of Love is back and better than ever! This week’s Letters of Love consisted of Holiday themed letters. Lauren and brought some sweet treats as they all gathered around and discussed some examples of what types of decorations and designs could go on the letters to the children. I interviewed Lauren Bettis about the experience she has had so far with starting Letters of Love Club.
What was your favorite part about starting the Letters of love club?
Lauren said, “My favorite thing about the club is knowing the impact you are going to have on the kids! Kindness and love can be spread in such small ways but you can make the biggest differences in kids’ lives! I am so grateful for the opportunity to start this club and be a part of the organization!”
What was the theme or idea today’s club was based on?
Lauren responded, “Today we did our holiday, so all of it was holiday themed!
This week’s club was a chance to gather around one last time before Thanksgiving break and more than 40 holiday cards were made!
