This week for spirit week in advisories students were asked to create doors from their favorite decade for homecoming this Saturday.

STUCO is asking students what they want the doors to look like and for example, 90’s, 80’s, 70’s, and etc. are some of the themes. This is a way to get kids involved instead of sitting on their phones in advisory or doing work all the time.

Mrs. Barber, one of the faculty sponsors said, “We have been doing it for over 10 years now, and it is a way to get ALL students to participate during homecoming week. Our student council are asked to present ideas and then the Student Council body votes for their favorite. A couple years ago we started having classes submit pictures so that the entire student body could vote for their favorite and it seems to be going over really well.”

Remember to look at your emails to vote for your favorite dancing trough decades door. The top three winner gets prizes, 1st place gets a pizza party, 2nd place get an ice cream party, and 3rd place gets a common grounds token.
