Last Wednesday at Washburn Rural High School, there was a new club introduced, which was organized by Lauren Bettis. She posted a “Letters of Love” Instagram post that welcomed everyone who participated and joined the club with donuts as they walked in and waited for instructions.
For this club, Mrs.Bunck and Lauren set up colored paper and markers along with some scissors to make heartfelt cards to the Children that are in the hospitals. Last week for clubs we had over 60 people show up and make cards. Some kids even made more than one. Lauren and Mrs.Bunck announced earlier this week that there will be no Letters of Love for clubs this week. Although next week there will be another club meeting for Letters of Love on Thursday, September 14th
