After getting 4th place in the 6A state tournament last year this year’s boys soccer team is looking to build off of last year’s success and go for the gold.

As varsity soccer player, junior Ryder Nikkel was asked what the goals were for this season and this is what he had to say, “Our goal this year is definitely going for that final goal of state, and winning the whole thing.” 

There’s a lot of high expectations for the Junior Blues soccer team after placing in the final four in the state tournament for the third year in a row last year, they now look to finish the job and take home the gold.

The Blues are already off to a hot start to the season outsourcing their opponents 18-3. This hot start has led to a 4-0 record  with their most recent win this past Thursday against De Soto ending in a score of 2-0.
