For this weeks student spotlight we have focusing on our yearbook staff. We have asked a couple of students in the class to answer some questions on what they are doing now ad whats to come.
- When did you first join yearbook?
- “I joined Yearbook at the beginning of my junior year.”
- What made you want to be in it and what role do you play?
- “I wanted to join after I took photo imaging with Luetje and realized I took some pretty good photos. I go to different events and take pictures of different athletes or clubs and create various pages within the actual yearbooks itself.”
- Are there any ideas already for this years new yearbook?
- “ I think we decided on a retro which is a bit of a coincidence considering our homecoming dance is decades themed.”
- Give me your worst and favorite part about yearbook?
- “ The worst part of Yearbook is finding the time during the fall when I have other activities going on to go to sporting events and take pictures. Once I am there though I enjoy sitting behind the camera and taking them. My favorite part would probably be sitting in class with everyone and having a fun time joking around while completing our pages.”
- Do you have a favorite memory from being in yearbook?
- “My favorite memory is going on the field trip to the yearbook plant in KC and shopping at legends after. Oh and seeing the hard-copy of the new book we had created for the first time.”
- Would you recommend this class to underclassmen and why?
- “I would recommend it because it allowed me to meet people i most likely never would have talked to and become friends with them. Also Luetje is a pretty awesome teacher so it makes the class even better.”
