The tradition of the senior bike ride incorporates the joy of being a senior and throwing something fun for the seniors to look forward to on their last first day of school. As the seniors walk into the school for their last year, this conventional bike ride gets them all to come together and have some fun! The seniors all met at Jay Sheideler Elementary at 7 am and rode their bikes to the school together.
The event also gets seniors involved with fun activities and makes them feel like they are little again. To add to the special first day for the seniors, Mackenzie Flood, Jackie Zuno, Savannah Tuffley, and Brooklyn Tuffley showed off the spirit even more by making decorative jeans that make the first day stand out even more.
Other students were allowed to bring other transportation like skateboards, scooters, and even roller skates. Some of the seniors this year made festive shirts addressing their last year at the high school like Katekynn Brown, and Lily Engel. More participating students including Zoe Canfield, Jada Ingram, Anna Halstead, and Anna Martinson all all of whom participated in the senior bike ride by wearing their favorite kid TV shows they watched when they were little.
