For this week’s student spotlight we interviewed junior Laiken Clark on girls wrestling winning state this season. 

• When did you start wrestling?
  • “I started wrestling my freshman year.”
• How many schools were at state? 
  • “There were 56 schools at the state.”
• What do you believe was one of your strengths at state?
  • “One of my strengths was my family being there to support me, and music helped me a lot.”
• Are you wanting to further your wrestling career in college?
  • “Yes, I would love to continue wrestling in college. “
• What got you into wrestling?
  • “My older brothers used to wrestle, so when the high school made a girls team I knew I should do it.”
